Writings
I started writing seriously in 1994, when I was thirteen. In fact, I was bit too serious about it. I didn’t have anything to say back then, but I thought I should get a chance to say it anyway.
In 1998 I started working on The Fur; I finished it in 2002 and it won the T.A.G. Hungerford Award. Fremantle Press published it in 2004.
Check out the subpages for some short stories, poems, and the first five chapters of House of Zealots.

This blog is about the literary life of a writer in Perth. Expect reflections on reading and writing and feature posts on whatever's caught my attention, from historical curiousities to autobiographical reflections. I have a separate blog for theology -
my name is Jose Nunez, i´m writing you from the other side of the world. Argentina. Jorge L.Borges´s country. I´m a baptist pastor and would like to be a writer too. I´m finishing my Ph. D on History. We have things in common, haven´t we?
With 20 years more I´m glad to see your site.
Good to hear from you Jose. More Baptists should get into Borges, I think. All the best with your phD, and your writing. We could do with some Baptist writers – not enough of us.
More everyone should get into Borges–an The aleph…Ha, aren’t you full of surprises…hmmmm
